you know what, let me not be such a cunt. maybe this is a newer artist starting out, and they’ll have a glow up once they’re a few projects in. good luck to them, but the charm of the story is seriously lost in these character drawings :(

I know!! I feel the same way! It's not really about the art style (because I've seen worse), what bothers me is the change in the character's personality. Like you mentioned, he became full of weird expressions and blushing all the time... He wasn't like that!
Besides, these last chapters felt too rushed.
exactly, you get what i mean, i loveee that mc was a stoic, generally hard to read person. it made it super cute and endearing when felix goes above and beyond for a crumb of affection bc he cannot tell if mc was pleased or not, since he was always blank faced. he was a really solid character who was efficient and quick on his feet, i.e. in the middle of a random gun fight, he gets the upper hand bc he’s that type of character.

this art is rough. i don’t think the artist characterizes the mc well, he looks weak and his facial expressions are weirdly open and overly vulnerable. mc is the same dude who always has a poker face, who felix would do anything to get a reaction out of, and now he’s just full of all these facial expressions and has made a 180? hmmmm
but besides that, it’s just very mediocre. if the author had a reason to get rid of the other artist, that’s fine (allegations of cp is more than enough for me) but i mean is there a shortage on up and coming manhwa artists or what
