I read this years and years ago, but I remember this one shot manga story (which I think it was a part of a collection of other one shot stories) where the guy was an introverted loner who like mimature sail ships, so his sister 'brought' or 'hired' a human-like doll companion to get him used to people again.
It wasn't "Hybrid Child" by Nakamura Shungikuany but I guess it was similar? But I remember the main guy had a fansincation of miniature sail boats (or sail boats in a bottle) and the human-like doll was somehow connected to the main character previously.
