anyone else noticed they're using AI for the art now?

    Omg! If you hadn't said this I wouldn't have noticed at all! I went back and checked, and now I understand what was bothering me! The slightly skewed angles!
    But I guess it is more efficient that way. Drawing backgrounds sucjs if you don't like it.

    Look for the slightly awkward looking backgrounds. The bridge or whatever that is, the buildings looking a little sus. They definitely know how to make it look good, but still, if you know what you're looking for, you'll catch it. The characters are still drawn manually obviously.

    It's more noticeable in the backgrounds. The details are smushed together like in a typical ai image.

    I think the characters are mainly drawn by hand but this last chapter there's been some smudging on their faces... around their eyes and eyebrows.

    On page 1, Jiyan Yi's face lines give me second thoughts. The hair too.
    On page 6, Zhang Zhen Xi's face and eyebrows looks doubled as if two images have been merged.

    It's typical ai where the lines go nowhere or merge at awkward points...

    This is the first time it's been jarringly obvious to me that ai has been used.
