Raina is the biological daughter of the Duke and the first Duchess Anna. Sadly Raina is dead, the ghost we see behind “Raina” is the real Raina. Currently a girl called Aria Hillen, is possessing Raina’s body. This was why the Duke felt uneasy around her, even than he knows she’s his biological daughter, the fact that she looks like the first duchess and has the one of a kind bracelet that only the first duchess had. This is similar to how Camilla and Lee Sia, were treated in the past. When a soul is in the wrong bodies, it makes people around them start to hate and dislike them (I’m guessing those who they are close to, cause not everyone hates them. But there might be cases similar to Laila. When Laila was young she got along well everyone, but the moment she started hanging out with Camilla it all change. Instead Laila hating Camilla, the hate from others was also direct at Laila as well). The reason Raina is not speaking or anything is cause her body is being possessed which stop her from doing anything other than follow Aria around.

Aria plan was to take down the the Duchy. Camilla exposes her, so Aria kidnaps Camilla, and takes on her appearance. Arsen and Petro exposes her as a fake. Camilla lets Raina take control of her body, to give let her have a chance to hug the Duke. After that she disappeared. She was sad that she didn’t get be a sister to Camilla and her brothers. Honestly justice for Raina, she would have been an amazing older sister to Camilla.

So the reason why Aria needed to take down the Duchy is because it’s part of this evil Eva church cult plan to rule over everyone. In the beginning they sent Anna, the former Duchess, to seduce the Duke and destroy the Duchy. However she fell in love the Duke, so she abandoned her mission. However the cult threatened the duke and Ludville, so she ran away. They killed her and used her child to continue their plan. The Emperor is also part of the Eva church cult.
