TLDR- alpha and beta hook up. Beta has feelings for alpha but alpha is using beta for sex only. Alpha is waiting for his bond/omega. Unbeknownst to all except omega, turns out the omega alpha is waiting for is the 2nd ML for beta. Omega drugs beta and has sex with him. Alpha gets upset and grape and knots beta. But Beta still loves alpha and tries to convince him but alpha swats him away. Alpha Bond is broken when beta gives up on him. beta and omega get together. All of the sneaky planning of omega is revealed. we end the season with the beta not sure what to do. Both alpha and omega suck- most readers want the beta to move away from these crazy guys and find happiness.
Full spoiler. Beta met alpha one time through an act of kindness and had a small crush on him. Ran into him again, alpha was in a rut and used consensual sex with beta to stabilize. They sleep together a few times, beta develop feelings despite having history of being abandoned but alpha just tells him he wants to keep beta around to have sex with him but his heart/pair belongs to his hyung/an omega. This hyung/omega apparently was hurt by something the alpha said many years ago and has been MIA ever since. Despite how sh1tty it must be, beta continues to help the alpha out by hooking up with him- in hopes to spend time with alpha and maybe even convince alpha that he is right for him. There is also a second ML for the beta - the omega/purple hair - which unbeknownst to everyone except omega - he is the omega paired and went MIA with the alpha. This omega liked the beta for many years and has been waiting for the right time. He picks up the alphas scent on him and this omega who we all thought was a cool guy, ends up tricking the alpha and beta. Firstly he lures the alpha to meet him but stands him up. Alpha ditches the beta for a chance to see the omega. Secondly omega drugs the beta he loves, and has sex with him. Theres like traces of sex on beta so alpha flips out and holds beta against his will and has sex with him, knots him, basically…grapes him :(. Beta still wants to be with alpha. Gives him the chance to be together, asking to break the bond with omega (they still do not realize they all know each other). Alpha says he’s just a beta and has no idea how important a bond is and beta gives up on him and runs to omega as rebound and they get in a relationship. While omega and beta are together, alpha ends up breaking the bond cuz turns out, he loves beta. Alpha finds out the omega planning this whole ploy and is upset and wants beta back but kinda feels conflicted if he should just let the beta be happy. But since omega drugged beta the one time and it seems to be causing health issues, everyone finds out what happened and now beta is sad cuz even the people he thought could rely on, ends up disappointing him.
