just bc he’s quiet and doesn’t give a fuck abt most things, doesn’t mean y’all should put him on the spectrum. unless the author will announce it themselves, then it will be clear.
He very much *does* give a fuck tho. Otherwise he wouldn't work so hard to study others' behaviour. It's just that when you're rejected over and over, it's only natural to reject others right back.
And the way he describes himself as not understanding the social rules everyone else plays by, how he has a hard time telling what people are feeling unless they tell him, and the way he studies people to try to understand social cues are all common experiences for autistic people. Obv the audience can't say 100% that he's autistic bc they aren't writing him, but if his character feels relatable to people with autism, there's nothing wrong with interpreting him that way. It's not like people are assuming anything negative about him by seeing him as an autistic character anyway.
