I am partially mad at Maxi, I completely understand what are you saying and how she acting is reasonable. It's not her fault that she is not knowing, that would be Riftans responsibility tbh. Keeping her safe was failed option here, so at least he could try to help with basic skills to be ready. (Reading map, how to make fire, what food she needs to be on, general monster guide, what to do if she is lost etc.). I understand, that Riftan is growed up like this and lived like this a long time, so for him all this is natural(I don't think he was teached, all comes from experience). However the problem is she is stubborn, not listening more experienced people and do as she think is best.

I understand your point, but the thing is that the healer position was essential here , she was the only healer available they needed her.
Like literally we saw someone get hurt and without Maxi they would've had lifelong problems. So for Riftan to treat her like a burden (ik he's not at all doing it consciously but because he has a hard time communicating ) he should've atleast taught her basic survival tactics , like you pointed out.
She literally lived in a bubble because of the abuse and had no concept of how to handle forest survival so right now I'm just mad that instead of people understanding Maxi and Riftan aren't wrong but just misguided and need time they are just being hated on.
Like I hate as a woman when other woman hate each other rather than understanding why the other woman is behaving like that or giving them the benefit of doubt. Like we should understand each other atleast.
We are not hating but honestly she shouldn't have come, realistically she wouldn't have been the only mage available, however even before healers they would have gone to Battle alone.
I am all for women empowerment but you start from the bottom to the top, you just don't gush into things because of your perception of it.
Although they should have taught her a few things before they left but they was few little time.
They should really communicate better, but maxi is slowing them down and I think people are being a bit harsh on riftan for their love of maxi.
