That isn't love or whatever Cirrus thinks it is, that is obsession and Skylar had every right to go as far as he did. Who does that fool think he is to use cheap tricks like that, destroying Skylar's self confidence with the stunt he pulled with Chan Li and Ri An and think everything will be alright???
Skylar has trust issues too but we don't see him do such things to Cirrus. He was already hurt from the past and still decided to be in a relationship, even with all the anxiety it would bring because of fear being found out and his mom hearing about it.
Almost every angsty chapter is just Skylar having to deal with Cirrus bs and his manipulations.
And if you are this type of person too, pls wake up bcs this isn't something to be understanding about. If you can not love and accept the fears that come with being with someone as they are, without pulling threats, tricks, intrigues and deception as you said yourself, than you are in no state to be in a romantic relationship.
