Limited Run is similar. You have to push thru the “boring” parts but even the boring is entertaining. And then I PROMISE! it’s so fucking gud. There’s also Love me Doctor with a redemption arc. If I think of more I’ll comment them. I love this trope sooo much.
I also suggest Love For Sale. It’s not exactly a “redemption arc”. But the couple goes thru it where the sème has to do some real thinking.
PLZ no it isn't it's even worse than Bj alex, at least in Bj Alex the Mc doesn't get sexually assaulted multiple times just coz the author lacks imagination to create a pathetic character.

Idk didn't see past early chapters ╮(￣▽￣)╭ and never will see past them, I can get behind realistic stories and their usual harsh episodes, not behind continuously putting a character through crude humiliation just because you don't know what else to write to make him seem pitiful and in dire need of help from his "knight in shining armor". It's not even how badly the seme treated him, that's a different conversation, it's just the overall plot.
i love seeing fictional straight men go from egoistic fuck boy to cheesy loving boyfriends for their twinks it's a trope that i will always eat up (my #1 fantasy since i learned how to grow a hard on )
