To be fair that wasn’t the first time if you forgot lol. And we forget jeoh was the one forcing himself on seongrok in the beginning. I think y’all need to remember that this story was clearly never meant to be healthy, even if you wished it to be that way. Seongrok will always have the label of a murderer, so he was never a green flag in the first place- readers just choose which red flags they wanna ignore and hate more.
yeah you're right, the story wasn't meant to be healthy and I'm not saying that it shouldn't have happened, I mean if we're reading and enjoying this kind of story it goes without saying that you need to expect this kind of content.
what I'm frustrated about is that seong-rok was supposed to be different from the other men, he was supposed to be the figure that stick besides je-oh, but not even that honestly wait
the real reason is that je-oh was supposed to want better for himself. he expects that from other men, like we've seen at the club chapters ago, but I think that at this point in the story he's grown enough that he should have at least told seong-rok that he fucked up, way more than he did. like he's a strong person, and he's used to it, and I get why he moved on so quickly, but I think he deserved to be angrier about it, to rage and hate seong-rok, at least a little bit, at least a little longer.
like yeah, they're unhealthy. obviously. both as people and as a couple. but damn, with the amount of growth je-oh's character has shown, I just wanted him to go to seong-rok and tell him that fuck, not him. every other men has already done that, but not him. he shouldn't have.
idk idk, again, I get why the story went this way, and I'm not saying it's unrealistic, I just think it could've been handled better, even with keeping it unhealthy as such a story should be.
Calm down hun, no one here was defending it. Please read again. I was very clearly reminding them that this was not the first time, so it shouldn’t be treated like it was a healthy relationship from the start. And you also admitted that jeoh was assaulting him, which happened at the very beginning of the story and start of their relationship. Idk it seems more to me like you’re separating sexual assault and rape, like sexual assault isn’t as serious. If you felt that way about it, then how did you end up reading all the way to the latest chapters?
I said calm down cause you’re very clearly not understanding anyone in this comment section. You freaked out at the mere mention of rape, not giving af about what was said and just assumed stuff.
If you started reading this when you were 10, you’re like 13 now. You’re just a child who still doesn’t know many definitions of words and how the world works lmfao. You shouldn’t even be reading stuff like this.
Don’t try to whine about a nonsense argument when you’re still in middle school telling people to kill themselves. You’re not cool and you’re not scary in the least. Go trick or treating or something and stay off the internet lil bro LMFAOOO
(๑•ㅂ•)و✧
I'm just so fucking pissed that they didn't even acknowledge the fact that seongrok literally raped him.
like, straight up, violently, pointlessly raped an already traumatised and desensitised man he's supposed to love and it was just like???? brushed over??????
like I'm not saying it didn't have to happen, but I feel like it could and should've been used better, as a way to show je-oh's growth and raise in self-esteem and self-worth, or as a way to construct their relationship better, but no.
it wasn't even badly handled, it wasn't handled AT ALL, and that just makes it pointless rape, which is worse imo
