Technically not just in ancient times lol even though it's pretty tame now still the same thing. A mother will do a horrible thing and the child that was loved by said mother will deny it ┑(￣Д ￣)┍

This is the problem in ancient time...The Emperor will punished those who did crime but can't accept that his mother did the same.
