It's easy for me to see Skylar's pov, when re reading LITC skylar is the one who 90% help cirrus during his thick and thin (though he ended up dealing with cirrus antics that caused him to be violent in response) and now we finally found out that Cirrus covering Skylar for his mistake, which is just one of two thing that somehow triggered Skylar to see cirrus genuine side.
honestly proves cirrus right, if yall seriously hating on skylar you need to seriously read the room. cirrus was a total bitch and just because hes mentally ill, frankly, does not excuse ANY of his behaviour. skylar went through some tough shit because of cirrus, and it was all for cirrus to genuinely make him feel upset and embarrassed n ashamed ash. of course, now its different as they lowk had genuine feeling for each other, however if cirrus just said the stupid truth right there and then this would not have happened. THIS IS WHY COMMUNICATION IS SO KEY IN A RELATIONSHIP!!!! however remember, they are teenagers, these emotions and feelings are completely valid both ways, but you still shouldnt hate on skylar specifically for defending himself and not bein thrown around and used by cirrus.
