He didnt lie sure but he wasnt completely honest. Skylar did try to understand him and his situation, but like imagine being in skylar's shoes. He was actually manipulated and Cirrus used situations just to stir him up or get Skylar in his favor. Skylar has a point, maybe he did love him but it was turning into an obsession cause he's trying to hold on to the only love and care he is getting.
