Her background doesn't excuse her for all the harm she has done. Torturing people, sending others to get killed/kidnapped or even raped, turning parents against their own child without knowing. Some of her victims won't ever be able to live the same again. Her background isn't enough of an excuse for that. Sure I do believe Sovishit deserves a worst punishment cause he was worst. He brought her there and was responsible for her and yet let all that happen and knew she wasn't capable of being in power. I do feel bad for her cause she was used and put in such an overwhelming position of power where everyone will judge her but what she did with that power and influence is inexcusable.
You literally didn't get the message, Rastha can be a tragic villainess and still a well developed character. She did bad things and there is a reason for that, nobody saying that she will be pardon because of that reason, but she had her reasons nevertheless
Y'all want "more complex female characters" until it's Rashta. When will people realize that, yes she was bad but she only did everything because of her situation/background. Sovishit shouldve gotten the burnt of the hate from the fandom instead. Rashta's death was supposed to symbolize that.
