But Chan-il himself is wrong about the reason for their fight? They never talked it out and we don't know if Chan-il talked with his gf. Skylar believes Chan-il's version, including the set up date, so anything Cirrus could say would be a lie to him anyway. If anything the chapter shows how their miscommunication runs deep bc of Skylar, and that Cirrus tries to twist the truth in a way that sounds manipulative.
Nah I get why skylar asked but my point is mainly abt how he’s determining whether cirrus is lying or not: he’s relying on chanil’s words as the truth. But the actual reason they fought is bc chanil saw riin hugging cirrus. And chanil didn’t say that to skylar (as far as we know, maybe I’ll change my opinion if we get fuller chanil x skylar convo)
that’s why I’m saying skylar has trust issues bc both what chanil and cirrus told him are not entirely true or lie but he puts chanil on pedestal
I’m sorry but what cirrus said to skylar wasn’t totally a lie, he just wasn’t telling the whole story atp skylar just wanted to hear chanil’s version of the story from cirrus’s mouth.
skylar fr trusts chanil more than cirrus, I understand why but with that level of trust issues between skyrus (from both sides) they shouldn’t have gotten in a relationship in the first place. i usually dgaf how toxic a relationship is in fiction but it’s so realistic that I’m not even sure if I want them to get back together
