I can't bring myself to love this. First couple was kinda okay until we learn about uke's past. It was waaay beyond being traumatic, also unnecessary. If he was just a slut who loves sex that was good with me but when they included some ped** shit, made me sick. Also why did seme suddenly went and head over heells for uke from the day 1?? Didn't make any sense.
For second couple... The dynamic was kinda okey I liked their awkwardness but I couldn't love uke's visual this time. They look like a kid and a grown man #-.-)

Story and characters may be good for some people but not my thing.

It's okay to be uncomfortable with the uke's past, but to call it unnecessary is wrong. I usually ignore comments of people expressing their dislike for certain parts of a story because you have every right to exprrss it. However, the author clearly added that "unnecessary" part of traumatic past to explain to reader why the uke became a "slut". People who went through csa tend to become hypersexual as well which the author clearly felt is important to further explain uke's behavior.

I think the author actually did a decent job of depicting something sensitive that many victims go through without going into too mucb gross details. Idk I'm not here to tell you what to like and not like.

Thanks for your opinion, you’re very kind. I understand what you’re saying but let me explain what I meant too.

It was unnecesary for me bcs it’s a tough trauma. He got raped when he was a child, it’s too deep. If there’s a plot like this, then story have to make it use for something. We know nothing about rapist’s situation, did he get arrest or something? I don’t think so. His mother’s behaviours were also so disturbing, she didn’t take his son to a doctor or police. Then what did this trauma serve for? Just for saying “he has an illnes and it made him a slut”. That’s the unnecesary part. I’m saying, if you wanna make him slut, then make him a slut without any reason. Or give him a different reason, like a past relationship or someting. “Raped by someone trusted when he was a child” is just too much for a storyline like this bcs he’s not affected by this even a bit. When they use trope like rape in webtoons I want them at least show how bad, disgusting and traumatic it is. Without them, it’s like authors underestimating what and how awful rape actually is.

actually, jihyun’s story has already shown how much he has struggled with his past. he was always living with a negative outlook on life because of his ex + his past experiences + his struggle with his illness. he broke down multiple times because of how exhausted he was with his life. the chapters about his back story do a pretty good job of depicting how creepy the people in his life was. and (obv) his backstory is necessary bc it’s what made jihyun become jihyun! ^^ this story wouldn’t have been the same if anything was different about his past. it may be too harsh/heavy for you, and that’s fine if that’s what YOU think, but it’s enough to say you didn’t like it or couldn’t handle it. saying it’s unnecessary is wrong because it’s literally the very important backstory of jihyun.

i think it’s quite realistic that the story doesn’t show what happened with his rapist, or his mom. bc irl that’s what a LOOT of victims go through. this story is less about justice and more about only the victims themselves and their journey of healing. and i love that the focus is on the victims’ story. in fact irl, some people have EVEN worse things happen to them. not all trauma gets resolved, not everyone gets their revenge. trauma isn’t something that needs to “serve a purpose”, it’s just something that happens to people.

as a victim myself who is simply learning to live life despite my past, this is a great story of overcoming problems and learning to look forward in life even after getting dragged to hell.
