Most of the adventure/shounen manga/manhwa I read treats romance as side unimportant stuff, but happens because life usually has some of it. Eg. Dragon ball, one piece, Naruto, bleach, solo leveling, soldier becomes monarch, greatest civil engineer, ... It doesn't ruin the series. But comments avoiding a series if it has any bit of romance like they have trauma of it. The series tags/genre is pretty reliable here. Like chill, we can skim pass the icky bits to enjoy the rest of the story.
do you skip suicide hunter because of the romance in it?
Might be my prejudice but normally the adventure harem I can't tolerate is Chinese manhua. Korean Manhwa harem usually when it's smut but that's what I sign up for.
Is it heterophobia?
