I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt this way . It's definitely SUPER weird that there's such large age gaps, if the mc and her friend had been younger people around late teens the plot and setup could've still been perfectly fine. So overall the age gaps just feel unnecessary, and if they really wanted to go that route then the original story characters should've been older and in a college type of school setting.

And at the end of the chapter, the author/artists are like "kyaaaaa, small tongue" / "small tongue (screaming)". LIN'S BODY WAS 12. TWELVE!!!! Fuck you mean you kyaa'ing over small tongues. Child tongues.... grabbing someone's legs and licking and nuzzling in a seductive manner. okay i’m caught up and im really surprised no one has commented on gu qing and the teacher’s relationship. one, the teacher was already a teacher when she met gu qing who was 12 years old. i do think she is grooming him, i mean calling him out separately? telling him to visit her at night? giving preferential treatment towards him? the author tried to play it off as her just caring for him but then we time skip and gu qing is in love with the teacher who married his brother and got divorced. and the teacher had the nerve to say “he was just playing with me” he is 17? i need you to be so for real right now. it’s downright disgusting and weird and i hate how the author is trying to play it off as older woman x younger man. NO! she knew him since he was a child and groomed him into loving her! didn’t set any boundaries and i fear they will become a pair. i love the art and the story but its just this tiny plot device that disgusts me so much. nonetheless i’ll still finish the manhua but i just think this side plot is fucking disgusting the way the author is trying to romanticize grooming and pedophilia.
moving on the lin and the mc, i think their dynamic is a bit better. lin has regressed multiple times so his mentality is not that of a child so i don’t mind him being the ml. what i do find weird is the mc repeatedly trying to force this mother-son dynamic when we all clearly know they’re going to end up together. if she wasn’t so adamant about him being her child, then this pairing would’ve been perfectly fine. also, while lin was an adult mentally, mc doesnt know he regressed and treated and raised him up as a child, so that little plot device is also kinda weird. actually there are a lot of disturbing pieces including the ogfl and hua. why is this man 27 blushing over a 17 y/o. if the author just loves illegal age gaps and pedophillia lmao. i’m giving this a 3/5, would’ve been a 4/5 if there wasn’t so much pedophillia in the story! art is amazing and the plot was interesting, especially with both the og fl and the mc being reincarnated and friends!
