phoenix symbolizes life after death. rebirth, or maybe in this case, regression. that’s the only thing that comes up in my mind besides her hair being red. and like you said, her dying by fire somehow makes sense too, coz phoenix has always been associated with fire hahahaha
but maybe..just maybe…she’s not just a bird. she’s a phoenix. that’s why her hair turned red? lol idk
