I feel like these authors do it just for the sake of being exposed and known, like, they just write bl cos it seems "popular" and maybe why that's reason that they don't really put any effort, and not really go deep and I feel like, it's a bit of a rage bait, when they pull shitty mls, to capture and make the readers "curious" onto what's next

True actually. There are like a handful of bl that actually has a good ml which isnt shitty. But its kinda sad because there are some hella good stories with no recognition or barely any recognition. People hate the very concept of rape so much (this is taking in the fact that most of the popular BLs contain rape in it) but yet when it is incorporated in fiction, and then the male lead “grovels” for it, they’re forgiven and forgotten. I mean don’t get me wrong. I do read books that contain rape in it and I have liked some of them keeping the rape part aside, but the thing is that grovelling doesn’t change an action that you did, which caused someone mental and physical trauma. Yet stuff like this continue to go popular because good looks, big dick and porn. Maybe I’m just too naive even stupid, but I just expect them to be different sometimes because I really put a hope into the order that maybe they will change it . What’s worse that this train is also catching on to in real life books. Everything is just over sexualised at this point.

This is actually my problem rn. I can’t find any decent/preferred manhwa that I truly like. I’ve read and dropped a couple because it’s just not my cup of tea or I got bored along the way. It came to the point that I’m trying to look for a novel as well just to find something that I like haha.
