So basically imprinting is when an alpha bites an omegas neck to signify that they are mates and when they imprint only the alpha can smell the omegas pheromones and the omega can’t sleep with other alphas and also the omegas heat would be less painful for them. And that’s just what I know from reading a lot of omegaverse. Hope this helps.

It seems like the author is slowly hinting that the two (mc&ml) are compatible, and that's why ml is capable of smelling mc's pheromones.

Are there not cases of alphas & Omegas who already imprint in their younger days by.. idk spending time together and stuff? I remember reading such things.

Anyone reading this please confirm it for me too: From what I understand, omega can imprint an alpha with their pheromones? Or is it the other way around in their case? Like Jaekyoung manifested even before that and accidentally imprints Jiheon (with whatever possible way. Because in the past they didn’t even have any physical contact at all).

yes in some omegaverse stories they imprint using they're pheromones.
for example in Love is an illusion they imprinted when spending a sentimental/ intimate moment together but in another manga i read the imprint was die to an attachment or like favour/ love towards the other person even though they didn't know themselves that they liked them

Maybe they imprint because they share the same pool? Because in real life there are some case that women get pregnant becaue they spend too much in the pool when in reality, its just a water insidethe womb. Maybe that's what happen to mc, ml leak phenomenons in pool causing mc getting imprinted by ml's phenomenon?

This is def true. I reread the novel, and it’s indeed the work of ml. Imprinting can only happen in alpha and he unconsciously imprints mc during those days. That’s why even tho he takes pheromone suppression meds he can detect mc pheromone
