Yeah, but I can still call it out just because it’s common doesn’t mean we shouldn’t call it out. Korean go crazy when someone brings up Japanese atrocities or comfort women but they can make action story or romance story about someone else’s atrocities.
There’s this new Web novel where the main character is going to be Mexican and Will be centered around Mexico. Which I’m actually excited for since I am Latina but I saw the novel cover and I don’t know how to feel about it. He’s pale like there’s definitely pale or white Latinos, but majority of us are brown, and especially during that time there were Spanish colonists, so I’m hoping the protagonist isn’t a colonist or a conquistador but honestly manhwa Authors are super colorist, so I don’t have much high hopes like they could have finally given brown representation, but they decided to go with a pale ass man. There’s nothing wrong with pale or white Latinos I myself I’m one like i’m kind of the only pale one in my family but where is the representation for brown Latinos
