Technically the main plot ended already, it’s mostly side stories now. Like people said before it gives you some comfort and cleansing from all dark angsty stories that have come out recently.

when did the main plot end?/gen there was still some foreshadowing and there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

I understand what you’re saying but to me, personally, I don’t see the author answering any questions relating to the main couple. It seems like most of their issues are resolved and all new problems are for the other “side couples”. 100% the story continues but all the climax is gone about who’s the parent of babies.

yea but there was still the problem of yiyi's red strings and we still don't know much about rourou's powers and such (and i thought there was still some foreshadowing with some of the bitter ah feng family members like the uncle and his sons and his mother). but yea the whose baby issue was resolved long ago fr.

Agree! Let’s hope the author comes back to the main couple and the kids.

To me this feels more like some filler content before the main plot starts up again & set-up for future main story plot rather than the main story having ended completely tbh

Like there's the whole thing about having to maintain Yiyis popularity until the end of the year to completely "cure" him which is a plot point added after what seemed like the climax of the main plot and has been hyped ever since alongside the wedding and public reveal of their relationship in addition to cousin jinhaos return being hinted and a hinted family feud between the He and the Lin family with the Lin heir rejecting his position and teaming up with the
He's to free himself of his heritage.

So to me it honestly feels and seems like some new complex main story arc is being prepared and coming, but will require some more in universe time to pass and we're currently getting filler content to bridge the time until the new main story plot is ready

Thanks. I truly want this to happen. I kind of don’t want the story to end. But the author should stay away from the siblings not siblings story—for some reason I don’t like how it was introduced. I would like more of the other “couple” that we have right now. And this would be an overkill but I would love to see Rourou and Big head all grown up.
