And her joining Riftan was a edged-sword. The benefit is that she'll be able to heal the knights or provide protection(like the shield she casted) for the knights, and the OBVIOUS downside of it was that she was definitely going to hold back the knights and Riftan. That much should've been obvious by how Riftan reacted to her wanting to join them in the first place.
The comsec. is not "giving" bro.... I mean, considering how Maxi was brought up (she was deprived of the right to learn anything from her previous household. Most of her knowledge and skills came from reading books or that she was self taught. And learning basic horse riding, endurance training, etc. were not even one of her options....). And like, remember that her attribute to magic was ultimately due to her being exposed to magic since her life support as she was being beaten by her father was healing magic. Maxi wasn't even supposed to have magic, but Maxi being the girl she is, she looked on the bright side and made use of the result of her trauma(╯°Д °)╯╧╧.
Our home girl is basically trying to stand up for herself and pursue the image that she wants to be seen as. Maxi had no experience or whatsoever on going adventures or fighting monsters. And yet, people can't help but criticise her efforts to try and be of a help to the knights. Saying that she's a liability or that she shouldn't have gone with Riftan. It's valid since we all have opinions, but I thought that was already fucking clear to all of us?? （￣へ￣）like, girl has no idea of what to expect, has no fucking experience, and has very little knowledge on how to manipulate a dangerous situation she's in BECAUSE SHE DOESN'T KNOW ANYTHING RELATED TO IT CUZ IT'S HER FIRST TIME!!!!
She's supposed to be bad at it ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ She's supposed to hold them back cuz it's only natural to do so, cuz she doesn't know what to do being it her first time. Why complain and nitpick on her when it was to be expected????? And some even try to argue back or question people who praise Maxi for her efforts as she holds herself from the goblins who were attacking her. Like why dude??? Can't even compliment or praise Maxi cuz she's a liability or whatever they call it.(╯°Д °)╯╧╧.
