Yeah, I used to have a guy who always followed me around. It was definitely not cute.
I have had several over the years and I wasn't cute. During a 3 years or more of the one stalker, everyone around me thought it was cute and thought I was overreacting or mean. But the guy did everything he could to try to get me to date him. which included him trying to win me in a game of card, follow me home, trying to blackmail me (he sucked so badly at that. he said he would tell everyone something that everyone knew) and pretty much stuck to me like glue. And I couldn't even punch him since where I lived at the time had rules against fighting in any sense. Happily for me, that one stalker stopped after I moved in with someone they hated.
.... That sucks.....The closest thing to a stalker I had was some guy online in a game he didn't even know what I looked like or anything though which confused me. It was in world of Warcraft he kept bugging me to date him after he saw my game play in arathi basin...A battle ground I DOMINATED THEM ALL! But then I blocked him so ╮(￣▽￣)╭ I wouldn't have a stalker in real life ever lolz. But was it scary?
I have had the video game stalkers too. They don't get the hint even if you tell them you are a guy, married, an alien, or a potted plant.
As for the stalkers, it depends on the stalker, but yes they are all scary. The type of scary they are depends on the stalker. The real life ones. The stupid ones are the ones I had. But I also ran into the scarier stalkers that you think are only in movies. They would stalk people I know. Those were the ones when I was younger, and I never got in trouble for fighting them. Man... I just realized I have dealt with a ton of stalkers and have not been killed or injured too badly by them. Lucky.

The online stalkers can be just as scary. Like HoshiSecret said, it also depends on the type. I was way more terrified of my cyber stalker as opposed to the guy who kept following me around and making me feel uncomfortable.
Is it strange that we have so many stalking yaois that the stalker gets the guy? I am with our poor delivery guy on this, it's very annoying. I like seeing the sister brother dynamic though. And now with another stalker to the mix that delivery boy's ass is so going to be violated.
