I love him now, but he was super toxic for the entire first season and most of the second. He still has issues but he's funny and dumb-in-love now.

Even if Jaehyuk wasn't homophobic, that was downright disgusting.
They both started their petty wars.If he were toxic he would have been hitting and slapping the daylights out of him. He said some stuff, and even when he mistakenly hurt him, he apologized and treated him. Yes, he was wrong in the first season but not downright toxic. Both were worse. He even cleaned the vomit of a person he hated.

Jaehyuk WAS toxic, the fact that he could've been MORE toxic doesn't mean he outright wasn't. He even fucked Garam when he was semi-conscious and we both know what the word for that is. It's just that this is BL and the storm has passed and they're both funny and cute, but first season was wild.
