Actually I see this in all kinds of bl comics
I hate that trope too to be honest....but honestly speaking that's not the case this time though(like it's not fate or something like that)....the ML actually approached the MC for that very reason(he knew who MC was and knew MC had something....the very reason ML approached the MC was because MC was ML's family's driver)
It happens a lot in dramas too
