As an angst lover I wish she looked more hurt by what happened both physically and emotionally... I didn’t read the novel but I kinda get what you all are disappointed about. The characters suddenly feel less complex which is really weird ...

real! like on the novel she was described as bruised to the point no one will recognize her so why does she look so good still in the manhwa

If you like angst you should read the novel, even if is just this ending part, it's SO MUCH BETTER!

I saw this being talked about. Apparently they censored it for the younger readers. That way it can have a larger reader base. When she put on makeup after escaping, that was supposed to be enough to justify her looking normal again so soon. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭ Because of the censorship.
People who read the novel talked about how them doing that really messed up the story. Especially with how it's supposed to go down after she returns. I think it's dumb personally. They should've stayed with the original plot since that held a lot of significance to the original story line! (/TДT)/
I'm glad I ran across that conversation and read all those spoilers.

I think not just the makeup, she had planned to flee to far away but every time she keeps getting behind because some excuse to stay until she realizes that she doesn't want to be away from him, even if it means he will be the one who will k11L her, her acceptance of her destiny is so angst and sad in the novel, it was really good to read.

But, I do like the Duke blaming Cliff here, it doesn't happen in the novel.

Honestly, it was satisfying for the duke to blame Cliff but it was kinda out of character for him to do so... whoever is making these changes is not in tune with the characters
