Kaede is a cutie... but there was no need to make her a "spider girl" she was absolutely fine as a full spider.
And sorry to say but... it is harem. Everyone around mc (in his party) is female. Even the horse and they even refer to the golem as female. He doesn't need to be dating all of them to be considered harem.
