Lmao I got you but in South Korea universities a HUGE DEAL they take very seriously the college entrance exams and they are super hard. And if you don't have money to pay for a college is harder. Is all about their studying and working culture. And dating usually is something very casual.
In any country is common to people to date in high school and break apart by the time they go to university. That thing about a love that the universe keeps apart is quite romantic in some novels and all, but in reality the heartbreak is not the end of the world.
That thing about the universe stuff is me bitching after finishing the ORV novel and it having left a gaping void in me that no matter what piece of fiction I consumed after it, my thoughts kept going back to it lmao.
and oh yeah for sure, I live in a country where entrance exams are as big of a deal as korea if not even more. People kill themselves over it and the kids who take it seriously probably all have some part of that trauma sticking to them lifelong due to the stress of it all and the disgusting environment they're in. I'm someone who went through all that, and this bitch needs to GET A GRIP.
Yes, heartbreak is not a big deal but having a relationship in final year is also not such a huge deal IRL that he has to angst over it this much lol.
These mfs I swear to god. There are people who want to be together who desperately want to be together yet the whole universe plots something to keep them apart. Then there's this guy making a huge deal out of entrance exams. As someone who's taken an exam this hard, holy shit just date already. Not that much of a big deal and even if he fails that mf can just retake it, retaking it the next year is not that uncommon in korea what tf is he thinkinggggggggggg.
