It’s super duper ultra sad, it’s literally “tragedy” but on steroids. If u read this, it’s basically 100% that ur gonna cry. If ya wanna cry read this!

-the beginning is extremely bittersweet sad. Showing an old couple with a old lady becoming a widow due to her husband passing to old age. Each chapters shows parts of how they fell in love and it really likes to chip away at you until I feels super sad.
-then the story moves onto to talk about the families of characters and oh boy but shit get real.
-they really fuck you up by showing each characters dreams and what they wanna do after the war. Then they show the result of their death and how it affected families.
-I still remember a scene in which a pregnant mother was waiting for her husband with picture in hand who was already dead. That’s only scratching the serface of how fucking tragic this manga is.
