The only thing that bothered me was the relentless, acute concentration on/ obsession with the uke’s late father. I get it. I get that it was a central theme in the series, but it got annoying really quickly. Everyone was worshipping him and obsessing over him as though he solved world hunger or something. It seemed like the other older characters were preoccupied with it far too much, far more than the uke. It felt like they were burdening him with the memory of his father. Almost overshadowing the fact that the uke is his own person. And I applauded the seme when he noted exactly that to the glasses guy.
