So, this is Ido and Sejin's second life. They were married in their previous life as well but Ido was the typical cold ceo type husband and they didn't have any sexual relationship for some time. Ido's brother is trash and committing crimes left and right. Ido collected evidence of it and when their grandfather died Ido told his brother he has a "gift" for his brother waiting at home (gift being the file containing evidence of his crimes) but when the brother got to his home, he found Sejin who was in heat and thought he was the "gift" and SA'd him. Ido thought that Sejin cheated on him and d him as well (

So, in their last life when Ido and Sejin finally mate, Ido sees Sejin's memories ( in this verse it's apparently a thing that Alpha's can see their omegas memories when they mate) and Ido finally realized that Sejin was being truthful the whole time. But the damage was done and Sejin was in deep depression due to trauma from all the shit he went through. And he offed himself with a gun Ido keeps in his study (this is why Ido doesn't let him enter the study). Ido completely remembers everything and is trying his best to treat Sejin better this time around. So, the dreams Sejin's been having is actually his memories from past life and he does remember everything eventually.
Girl this is not even the worst part
The main reason Ido acts weird and kept a distance from Sejin is cuz he thot he doesn't deserve Sejin and should just get him to a better place using an engagement instead of marriage so that when Sejin gets the perfume company running well and can be independent, Ido will break it off so that Sejin can do what he wants. Except Ido falls in love again and is now conflicted btw letting him go or keeping him by his side.
