This ending was so unsatisfying its actually amazing. I don't know how the author could've fumbled this anymore. (Well maybe if the husband found her since she clearly had the same instagram and he could make an alternate account.) If they showed a chapter of getting the police involved and it proved futile I would be less upset but as it stands this manga was straight dogwater.
