Lance parents was actually in love and had Lance for love not just to procreate. The reason he lost his mother was not mentioned though, only his father in which committed suicide because his wife died.

His mom and dad don't really care about him... They have him just cause he's needed. Poor boy and the mom is to blame for all that they have to see. They're so inconsiderate of their child. And for that uncle's lover seems selfish from how I see. I feel like he's freaking over getting old simply because he's the only one getting old there I mean I kind of understand but they could have a good long conversation about it! Instead of yelling and forcing his lover.
