I'm confused, this season (flashback) was shown to us from which character's perspective? Or was it just to get to know the past? Because from the final panels it didn't seem to me that Ian is up to speed on the "Brian" thing, in fact the final panel of Ian's inquiry is the same as the end of the first season. And if that's the case, I think he's going to suffer a lot in the next season.
