I agree. But I think it helps that the emperor had a child young or at least he looks young now (he looks like he is between 30-36) and he is fine as hell. I mean I'm sure she wouldn't be this excited if he was ugly (old maybe because she would still be empress but just widowed)
True, and there have been other stories where the emperor is handsome looking and takes another wife. So I wonder if that’s another incentive lol
I always wondered why certain women in other stories would remarry a previously married emperor with a child, or willingly marry an older man. It’s because of the power and the thrill; knowing you can crush any of your opponents. The red head is half his age, practically his daughter’s age, he was married, had a kid, and still even if it’s her delusions would happily marry him.
