Well not exactly, he said that he didn't remember much, which means he might remember a bit, or just lied, everything is possible in this manhwa that's why I love it
I think since he doesn't really remember his life but just feels like he had a life outside, it must be part of the bug or something. Ko matter how long it has been you don't forget everything. All he knows is that he has a cousin (that he has no attachment to) and that this is a game. Very superficial stuff.
he could be lying or his perception could be somewhat blurry and then gave us some informations that's misleading. because we see the story through his POV. and when it comes to POV, it could be highly subjective yk. he might be an unreliable narrator.
That's also what I thought. I mean, he is smart and the plot could be literally that he's the killer or dev or that they aren't even in a game but in some weird dream or loop.
I got a CRAZY thought.
What if ML is the player from outside and MC is an NPC who gained consciousness. ML must be a developer so he came to repair the bug. That is why MC can't kill the killer cuz he doesn't have the specs nor can any other characters whereas ML feels like he has control over it.
