So Lorkan had a plan all along even if his power was taken. He was quite docile for someone that became the goddess’ representative and mouthpiece. He actually allowed them to banish Ian—even if he was planning to go for him after. He could have just ended all those priests from the beginning, and Ian would have never gone over to the other side, and he’d have won. He still loves games, and he continues to underestimate life and fate. He always thinks he’s better and knows more than everyone. Mind you, he doesn’t deserve Brian then, and he doesn’t deserve Ian now. He’s a full on sociopath. But this could have all been prevented if he just got rid of who was in his way and put the fear of the Goddess into all who tried to play games with him.
He deserves never to have Ian in his grasp. This is what he gets for playing with his food. Old ass man, and still be playing manipulating games.
