Idk how but he does end up saving Jin and Brandon I think dies. At the art project thing Matthew is at Jin is running late to appear but its only bc he was telling the boss he was quitting for good and and he shows up (late) and tells him “I’m nothing now so you better take care of me.”

Yes while Jin's guys are fighting Brandon's, Jin wakes up and is tied up. Long story short Brandon tries to bullshit Jin saying he loves and trusts him. But Jin doesn't fall for it so that bastard takes out a syringe filled with the drug Jin was addicted to wanting to make Jin compliant. Just as he is about to use it, a very pissed off Matthew comes in and beats the shit out of that bastard. He frees Jin than wants to kill Brandon by pointing the gun and him. While distracted Brandon pulls a knife but Jin pulls Matthew back and tells him his hands aren't meant to kill, takes the gun and shoots Brandon's prostetic hand to pieces. Than he tells Brandon he once admired him, but he became a gangster to make money, but never for him but for Matthew. No matter what he would always choose Matthew.

Oh yeah and after they talk everything that Maxxine says is right, Jfirst after its said that Brandon is done for and will be killed, and Jin tells that boss lady that he is done being a gangster and is late to Matthew's showing, everyone left and just Matthew sitting there thinking Jin wasn't coming but cries when he does show up.
