ehhh they call it "slavery" in this but it's closer to a master/servant prostitution system. not that that's good, but aside from MC everyone is applying for the position to get a leg up in society. I just think it was a poor choice of words, frankly. but it was definitely on purpose, for the title if nothing else. I avoided this for a LOOOONG ass time because of it.
I don't think there is a better choice of words when we can see how it really it. Slavery, prostitution, or whatnot, still fucked up. Good reason to avoid it.
oh yeah its definitely f-ed up, Whats even more f-ed up is that this is relatively tame compared to the norm, I, for one, am thoroughly, unhappily, unfazed by anything below jinx level.

Isn't it fucked up to have a slave system, young boys on top of that, is getting sold off to princes for their sexual desires before their marrianges? or its just me? Cause I think itwould have been a better ending for them to abolish that bullshit system and let the younguns have their childhoods of their own rather that normalizing slavery of young boys for the horny young adults just to make their dreams come true like its the only way... Yeah thank God the royal family is wanting to make their dreams come true and all but they look at boys as toys through that slavery system... I happy for shu and jadeite but the whole settings is bothering me...
