damn i feel really bad for yeonjo because he humiliated himself for MONTHS only to find out at this moment he has never been anywhere close to making hee-ryang waver. like he literally has just found out he's been the one maipulated. hee-ryang has just basically seen this dude go to massive lengths to try to avenge his family and gain his trust and all he did is just watch. he knew the entire time and just let yeonjo humiliate himself. like that's so sad and evil to me . yeonjo just wants to die now & tbh that's valid i would too brother

like i also just think (or like this is way it seems to me) hee-ryang has never wavered in his feelings towards yeonjo. like all he sees him as is a pathetic fuck toy who's just humiliating himself. it seems to me he's never caught feeling unlike yeonjo. i could also be completely wrong bc this is from yeonjo's perspective !! i just got that feeling from hee-ryang's words from this chapter sighh

I think he did catch feelings & he’s well aware. In a previous chapter he said he would have killed the person without a second thought, but he turned a blind eye to his scheming cuz he couldn’t let him go. At first he didn’t understand it himself but by the kids scene or the hunting cabin scene he was aware of his feelings. Even at the end of the chapter he knows they both have feelings but where turning a blind eye (uke cuz he was trynna kill him, seme cuz he couldn’t kill him even though he knew he betrayed him)

    Oh no
He knew all along that MC would try to do something, he never truly trusted Yeonjo, BUT he did catch feelings, it’s clearly that if he doesn’t, he would have killed or simply disposed of him earlier. He’s in love, as Yeonjo is, that’s why both are suffering from this event. He may even be more in love then Yeonjo. Otherwise, he would have him killed without a second thought after knowing that MC had poison to kill him.

I think it just makes sense not to trust Yeonjo. If I was in Heeryang's place, I would think the same, its the most logical thing to do. His subjects were telling him off as well. BUT Heeryang wasn't in any way waiting as if mocking Yeonjo. He truly fell and trusted him. We have seen Heeryang letting himself be vulnerable to Yeonjo. It is evident in the art that Heeryang has his eyes DEAD right now. He somehow found hope in Yeonjo but all of that is lost.

Take note, Yeonjo did not mess up, he could have successfully poisoned Heeryang. Thats how much Heeryang trusted Yeonjo.

FR that's enough reason for seme to kill uke because of betrayal but still he cannot kill YeonJo. We don't know seme plan to their relationship, but i hope next chapters will give us a relief
