"Fate" doing a lot of heavy lifting here

The thing is as a child educator he should know the most on the impact of being orphaned (and raised by seemingly evil ppl) can have on a child + the difference between being raised with love so the fact that it not once crosses his mind that the kids will now grow up to have entirely different personalities and wants is....?

Also if they're being raised together it doesn't even matter if you legally get together with the other dad or whatever they're still being raised as stepsiblings already....like they wouldn't have even met at kids in the original story? I assume he went to that rich person school and they probably met first as teens or adults idk

And what's the point of trying to maintain the original ending but also tying to give the kids a happy childhood if the original ending is actually bad for them like??? This book has gone on way too long for this dude to not connect the dots on this part can we pls get another plot driver already this one is just holding the story back...

If they are raised together, they might even end up with a completely different relationship, like only seeing each other as siblings. Jeonghan is not safe though, they might compete for him.

That is what eventually happens but it's frustrating to see the the author dragging out the "original ending" plotline as the MCs only motivation when we could have something more interesting going on instead, it makes the story feel stagnate even tho so much other stuff is going on in the background, yet we spend majority of the time going through the MC inner thoughts about the same thing over and over again, so the other plots like this mother in-law, the custody issues (they mentioned once then dropped), the random men who approached him, the ML background (they alluded to him being part of some enterprise at the start and then dropped this too) like nothing else gets any time to be fleshed out so the story just feels so repetitive at this point

Really roll my eyes when authors do this. Why is it so hard to write a character who can admit that the future isn’t going to go exactly as the knowledge that they have now that they changed the trajectory of the story? It’s like they wanna make their own characters as dumb as possible
