It’s bc ML actually changes and his redemption arc is a lot better than most other toxic stories. Like he genuinely feels horrible and admits his mistakes, plus, he doesn’t feel bad for the sake of getting together with MC, their relationship actually takes some time first, which is why there’s so many chapters.
Yup I figured this story started like shit I actually began reading it from ch 114 or something and guess what? Positive experience... And now I feel quite invested in them
Because the ml has a lot of character development and changes and theur relationship becomes equal and they focus on their love life while also delving into the ml's problem with his weird kinks and why he cant do without them
