Chapter 83

I seriously hate when Claire gets creepy about that boy. I think it’s the fact that he has the innocence of a child while she has the intelligence of an adult that makes it creepier. Plus wishing for him to only know despair so she can be the only thing he relies on is the epitome of dark. I’d want a protagonist to run away from that kind of love interest. However I still love her, especially because she goes against her Astariol instincts in order to provide him with a safe space where he can be free and happy. I also respect her father for sensing what type of time she’s on and helping her in this endeavor (even though most of it is probably because he doesn’t like his daughter being with a boy). In any case, I hope it works out so that he can grow up without his trash father nearby. That way, when he and Claire meet again, he’ll be grown enough to face her creepy self head on. Who knows, he might even like how possessive she’ll be.

I'm so happy Claire has and grew up with Eciel, her existence and her happy-go-lucky character help her to fit into human society, so that her Astariol personality can't take over to 100% even as she has no Tara.
Without that, her obsession for the boy probably would already have taken all her rationality away.

Yeah, she’s have no base line to balance her emotions out
