Yeah i don't think anyone is switching up on her lol. It doesn't make u heartless, people who do switch up, you can tell that people like Jooha walk all over them and manipulate them in real life. It sounds silly considering she hurt people in many ways, but the thing i'm mostly mad at her for is stealing black hair's songs, and never apologizing
You definitely make a good point!! If everything had gone well, she definitely would not be feeling the regret she does now. It’s just frustrating to read when she does not really realize the extent of her actions on those close to her. Like she left her supportive bf of multiple years for a new dude out of no where and was trying to show off their relationship in a show. I really hope that she doesn’t reconcile with anybody.
Maybe I’m heartless, but idk about switching up with joo-ah. Like even if joo-ah has some self-awareness which makes her slightly better than kyungmo, realistically, she chose to hurt not one person but TWO. Kyungmo didn’t care about anyone else so it was a given. But jooah didn’t even have the balls to break up with yoonsik and just ghosted him and left, while also knowing she’s taking the partner of the friend she made.
I truly believe that the only reason why she’s changing now is because she’s been losing. Had she been successful in everything, whether that be gaining fame or kyungmo still focusing solely on her- I think she would still be acting the same selfish way. She’s only realizing it now when nobody is on her side. And it also helps that both taerin and yoonsik are still soft on her. Like I’m not forgetting about the multiple times she tried to sway yoonsik again, but gave up when she saw he wasn’t falling for it. She may feel sorry for yoonsik (I can’t even remember if she seriously apologized to him). But she hasn’t apologized to taerin yet either. To me, this feels more like she’s been in a self-pity discussion 24/7 rather than actually feeling sorry for the people she hurt.
Honestly at the end of this story, I can handle her changing, but I really HOPE she doesn’t rekindle any friendship with taerin or stay in contact with them. I hope she just moves on with her life instead. Nothing I hate more than what feels like forced friendship. I hope the lesson isn’t, “you can forgive the person that cheated on you, and let them back into your life!”
