Idk, there's a lot of not great stuff so far. I mean there are reasons but if it really affects you it may not be a story for you.

All that said, it's so good and if you can get past it, you'll say least learn why things are so messed up.

I said they're was a reason for his being fucked up, but a reason for why someone is traumatized and an excuse for the behaviors they CHOOSE since the trauma set in are two very different things. I'm now worried I want clear enough :/

He's not a nice guy and many decisions put him closer to bad than the ones that could be categorized as “good”.

Like I said though, it's a really good story and it's very well written. I don't think of it as a romance. I think of the rape as a super fucked up form of trauma bonding/dumping. I don't find their sex hot (although I do think Youngwon is fucking gorgeous and that him being naked, hard, and getting off is insanely hot) the fact that it comes at the sake of hurting Hohyun makes me sad. So it's not like I'm here getting off on it or anything.

It doesn't hurt that I was reading the author's other mentally scarring story Profundus when I started reading this, and comparatively, this is a beautiful, peacefully happy love story.
