I love this two, I hope Adam and Eve are able to communicate. But I think Eve has read Adam mind and knows that Adam has been injecting himself with chemicals so they can sleep together. So to keep Adam safe he refused guidance. From my point of view they both like each other and would rather sacrifice they well being so the other can be healthy. Adam harming his body with chemical so even can get guiding, Eve refusing guid and harming his body so Adam don’t have to take chemical. Hopefully the misunderstanding is that simple
