This story was and always be one of my rare read

The storyline makes sense and is absolutely interesting, but doesn't take away the spotlight from the characters.
While in a personal level I can't relate to kassan because technically Igen was responsible for his family's death. While kassan was only related to the one who killed Igen's family, not the one responsible... It's more understandable why Igen was able to accept his love for kassan, than why was kassan able to accept Igen... Still kassan was no saint, he only had a gentle personality, but that makes him more interesting than the typical saint like mc.
He had a more selfish side to him especially when it comes to Igen. He showed more obsession to Igen than Igen does to him.

As for Igen, he's back story was what actually made him cruel. Everything he did was for revenge, he didn't even enjoy killing nor did he have a twisted hobby. The beginning where he physically abuse kassan was because kassan was an Azkun making him a target for Igen's revenge. Outside of his hatred towards Azkun and those who cross him, he didn't show unnecessary cruelty. And at the end, he was able to let go of his hatred along with the cruelty he developed after the tragedy of his family and comrades. I'm happy Igen was able to have his happy ending, since he wasn't a bad guy to begin with.

All in all, I'm kinda glad this didn't have a bad ending, but I can't say that I'm all good with the ending itself. Both of them were both victims of kassan's father's as actions. I'm just not sure how to feel when kassan let go of his guilt... Still I loved the story very much.
