It's to set a lasting trauma. Making them experience first hand how their victims felt when they SA or Rape them. Killing them easily doesn't really give much of a justice tbh coz at the end of the day you're giving them mercy by letting them die fast. And mental trauma is much more effective and painful than any physical torture.
